Arafura Games

The first Arafura Games was held in 1995, occurring every two years, until being suspended after the 2011 games. In these years, the sport of Tenpin Bowling was included. The Games were resurrected in 2019, but tenpin bowling was not considered. NTTBA submitted an application for inclusion in 2021, but unfortunately was not successful. Ultimately, the 2021 Games were cancelled, due to the impact of international travel bans. The Games will resume in 2023, and every two years thereafter.
